JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Construction Project Manager who is responsible for planning and overseeing the building process of various construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in seeing a project come to life from the ground up.
- Permit Acquisition: Retrieve and obtain necessary permits to construct in specific communities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and ordinances.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand project goals and expectations. Act as a liaison between clients and subcontractors to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resource Management: Determine required resources including manpower, equipment, and materials, while adhering to budgetary limitations. Procure necessary resources and manage inventory to ensure project efficiency.
- Supervision: Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project. Provide guidance, support, and direction as needed to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Timeline Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones. Proactively identify and address any delays or obstacles to keep the project on track.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor project expenditures and expenses, tracking costs against budget allocations. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project financial performance.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction standards are met or exceeded. Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and hazards associated with the project and develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure. Monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as GED or HSED)
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
- 4 years of proven experience in project management within the construction industry
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Required
- Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Goodman upon date of hire
Preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
SKILLS
Required
- Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
