The Cash Balancing is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of daily cash transactions, identifying discrepancies and enforcing cash handling policies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
· Reconcile cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards and online payments for retail stores with POS reports
· Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in cash balances for stores
· Prepare bank deposit slips for customer checks for stores
· Scan and maintain detailed records of cash balancing worksheets and store envelopes with deposit information recorded
· Review and resolve credit card declines and suspicious transactions
· Work with all retail stores and other employees to handle errors with sales transactions
· Order bank deposit books
· Handles any issues with online gift card purchases thru online website
· Call customers regarding declined credit cards or suspicious transactions
· Answer Phones
