As WH driver support will be responsible for receiving materials into inventory, ensuring proper storage of all items, initiating, and performing daily cycle counts, performing visual part inspections as needed, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the stock areas in a fast-paced setting. Must keep accurate records and promptly enter inventory transactions in the ERP system (SAP). A high degree of professional latitude and self-management is required. Teamwork, punctuality, and the ability to adapt to change is critical for this position. Must maintain a high degree of data accuracy.

- Operate box trucks for assigned delivery routes (local cities and surrounding counties, no out of state).
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery records or assigned reports
- Follow all regulations and company safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with Supervisor for routing and delivery updates.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner through planned route.
- Secure loads to ensure product integrity upon delivery;
- Efficiently navigate assigned delivery routes;
- Unload and appropriately handle pallets and packages per customers’ specific needs;
- Provide excellent customer service at every opportunity;
- Inform his/her supervisor of route delays and outstanding delivery situations;
- Obtain necessary delivery receipts;
- Organize and secure all route related paperwork;
- Participate in efficient route planning;
- Ensure all invoiced product is accounted for and loaded in truck
- Pick-up callbacks, returns, necessary additional trips, last minute stops in a timely manner
- Ensure work is performed safely at all times
- Wear proper safety equipment at all times
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
- Responsible for making sure that the truck is locked when unattended
- Responsible for checking, and double checking, all payments received
- Performing product and money pick-ups as needed
- Perform multiple stop deliveries
- Use of rf scanners
- Unload trucks using pallet jacks (electric)
- Operate forklift or industrial truck to assist in loading, unloading, or moving Consumer Packaged Goods [Food products] and material
- Adhere to Loss Prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures
- Work in Warehouse [picking, pulling, palletizing, prepping orders] as needed and/or as assigned
- Refuel and clean vehicle
- Follow traffic laws
- Inspect trucks and record issues, reporting mechanic problems to management
- Follow accident procedures
- Keep driver license up to date, and clean record
- Able to sit and drive for 8 or over 8 hours per shift (when needed) with regular breaks in accordance with State requirements.
- Able to drive safely in daylight, darkness, and in poor weather and road conditions
- Able to work independently and or in small groups and for periods without direct supervision
- Able to write legibly all comments needed on documents
- Maintain security and safety of assigned trucks. Lock all trucks when not occupied
- Follow highly frequent routes to customer sites and workshop locations
- Able to drive safely and efficiently to deliver product to customer's place of business without damaging product.
- Collects money and checks from customers, makes change, records transactions on customer receipt and obtains customer signature on receipt acknowledging delivery.
- Endorses all checks from accounts and keeps monies received in a safe, secure place.
- Places product in the appropriate place at the account & picks up expired product as instructed or required as part of the daily delivery procedure.
- Maintains proper maintenance and cleanliness of all Operational equipment.
- Follows safety protocol and training while maintaining safety measures at all times.
- Perform other additional duties, that may not be listed above, as directed, developed, or assigned.
- Help coordinate and perform physical inventories.
- Understanding food safety and the importance of it.
- Track product shelf-life/expiration dates.
- General knowledge of shipping and receiving
- Maintain a customer-focused perspective in all activities initiated to ensure that company needs are successfully met.
- General Labor within the Warehouse
- Use of pallet jack, forklift
- Misc. General Labor tasks/duties as assigned.

Education
- High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
Experience
- Driver, box truck, route delivery of product/goods to stores, markets.
- Experience working in a warehouse
- Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
Specialized Knowledge
- Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
Skills/Abilities
- Teamwork, good communication skills to work closely within department. The individual in this position will be responsible for operating driving delivery vehicle(s), truck mounted forklifts and warehouse forklifts.
- Components of this position include working with warehouse staff, support and working as needed within WH, performing Warehouse (WH) General Labor Duties along with following company safety policies.
- Position is PT driver with the understanding it is also back up support for full-time driving when needed to cover full time driver and/or business routes needs.
. Averaging 20-28 hours week + flexibility for full time shift/hours when needed and/or schedule change according to business needs (note, shift will always be day shift)
. $22-$24 hour range - according to experience

Requirements
.Must have Class C - Delivery Driver verifiable experience.
