Position: Scale House Attendant Assistant
Type: Full-Time (on-site)
Pay: $17-$22 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Plainfield, IL
Job Description:
We are seeking an individual who will support the operations of our scale house facility. You will work closely with our scale house attendant to ensure the smooth and efficient weighing of trucks and loads entering and exiting our facility. This is an entry level position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist scale house attendants with weighing trucks and recording weight data accurately.
· Direct drivers to designated areas for loading and provide dumping instruction as needed.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scale house facility.
· Assist with data and paperwork related to weighing transactions.
· Provide exceptional customer service to drivers and clients visiting the scale house.
Requirement:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
· Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with office software
· Knowledge of weight station procedures and regulations
