Our personal injury and consumer law firm is hiring 2 Legal Specialists in Arizona. We are seeking candidates with prior litigation support experience, preferably as a paralegal or legal assistant, for a 6-month contract role scheduled for 8 hours per day. Strong performance in this position may lead to a full-time opportunity. We have already hired team members into full-time roles after starting in this position.
What you’ll do
- Conduct detailed initial telephone interviews with clients regarding sensitive and confidential legal matters
- Enter and maintain information in our case management system
- Collect, organize, and review client documents
- Assist with preparation and filing of pleadings
- Prepare and serve written discovery
- Support additional administrative and case-management tasks as needed
Training and support
We provide structured training, and each new hire is paired with a team leader for ongoing guidance and support. Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant is preferred, but we are prepared to train candidates who have strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information carefully.
Schedule
Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Arizona Time.
Compensation
- Job Types: Contract, Temporary
- Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 30–40 per week
