Creative Media Instructor (Photography & Videography)
Created-N-Love Studios Foundation, Inc. is seeking a passionate Creative Media Instructor to teach photography and videography to youth through our after-school, summer, and enrichment programs. We are looking for someone who enjoys inspiring young creatives while teaching hands-on skills in visual storytelling and digital media.
Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply! Professional teaching experience is not required. If you have the education, passion, and desire to mentor youth, we'd love to hear from you.
Education (Required)
- Associate degree or higher in Photography, Videography, Film Production, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong portfolio of photography and/or videography work (academic, freelance, or personal projects accepted).
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background screening.
Responsibilities
- Teach photography and videography through engaging, hands-on lessons.
- Instruct students in camera operation, lighting, composition, storytelling, and editing.
- Develop lesson plans and creative projects.
- Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback and encourage student growth.
- Prepare students to showcase their completed projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with DSLR and/or mirrorless cameras.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Express, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications).
- Experience using Canva.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graphic Design experience.
- Adobe Certified Professional certifications are a plus.
