Ankle and Foot Specialists of Marion is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to add to our growing practice! This provider will participate in all aspects of patient care as indicated and perform the duties described below.

-Podiatric Medicine and Surgery: Outpatient care, wound care, post operative care, sports medicine, laser therapy

Essential Duties and Qualifications:
- Attend outpatient clinic and Hospital patients by participating in the initial evaluation, as well as, longitudinal care of patients.
- Obtain detailed medical history and perform comprehensive physical examination of patients.
- Perform laser therapy for a variety of conditions including wound care, pain and inflammation, nail disorders.
- Order and review appropriate diagnostic testing.
- Complete appropriate documentation of all evaluations, care and services rendered to the patient in their medical record in a timely fashion.
- Make appropriate referral for consultations when indicated.
- Provide both pre and post-operative patient education to patients and their families.
- Respond to telephone inquiries of patients and provide appropriate medical care, referral for consultation or counseling.
- Organization and task assignment to other healthcare team members (RN’s, MA’s and technicians) to facilitate flow of patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted medical license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant within the state of Ohio.
- Ability to develop relationships with network and community physicians and other providers.
- Current DEA licensure and prescriptive authority in Ohio
- Ability to work on-site with diverse care teams in a variety of settings
- Effective time management and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
