Job Summary
Join our team as a Lead Abatement Worker and take charge of hazardous material removal, restoration projects, and emergency response efforts. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of work sites to determine scope of abatement and necessary safety measures
- Ensure all team members adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use and respiratory protection standards
- Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, and company vehicles safely to facilitate efficient project completion
- Perform cleaning, fire restoration, flood restoration, water damage restoration, and mold remediation tasks with precision and care
Skills
- Extensive experience in the restoration industry with a focus on lead abatement, asbestos abatement and mold remediation
- Strong construction background with familiarity in using power tools, hand tools, and carpet cleaning equipment
- Proven ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with emergency response readiness skills
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients and team members throughout projects
- Knowledge of safety protocols including respiratory protection, PPE use, and adherence to OSHA standards
- Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while maintaining a clean driving record
