American Traveler is seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist with an active California RCP license and at least 1 year of experience for a hospital-based cardiopulmonary department position.

Work within the Cardiopulmonary Department of a hospital setting
-
Provide respiratory care across neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
-
Perform all modes of respiratory therapy, cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing, and arterial blood gas monitoring
-
Typical schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week

Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of experience required

Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required

Responsible for coordination and administration of respiratory therapy services across all patient age groups

Must demonstrate knowledge and competence in treatment techniques and value interpretation for the full patient population served
