Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of our residential and communal spaces. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for our residents and staff alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces and ensuring hygiene protocols are followed consistently.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing to keep all flooring pristine.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Restock supplies in bathrooms and cleaning closets to ensure all areas are well-equipped at all times.
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper cleaning techniques across various surfaces and materials.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward residents and team members.
- Experience with laundry operations and floor care methods such as carpet cleaning is a plus.
- Previous janitorial or housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required.
