Duties
- Serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring each guest’s order is perfect.
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items like toppings or specialty desserts to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitizing scoops, utensils, counters, and food prep areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage customer orders accurately while providing friendly and prompt service in a quick-service environment.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, process payments accurately, and give correct change using basic math skills.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely when preparing toppings or other food items, ensuring proper sanitation and food handling procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous retail sales or café experience will be advantageous; a background in the food industry helps you excel in this role. Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
