Better Half of Me Behavioral Wellness is preparing to open a premium, 10-bed Behavioral Health Residential Facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
We are seeking an experienced, organized and hands-on BHRF Administrator to oversee the facility’s daily operations, help complete pre-opening preparation and build a dependable residential team.
This is not a passive office position. The Administrator will be directly involved in staffing, compliance, resident services, documentation, facility readiness, referral relationships and day-to-day problem solving.
The ideal candidate has previous Arizona behavioral-health residential experience and understands how to run a facility that is both compliant and welcoming.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct the daily operation of the Behavioral Health Residential Facility.
- Help prepare the facility, staff files, schedules, forms and operating systems for ADHS inspection and opening.
- Implement and enforce facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain personnel files, credentialing records, training records and staff schedules.
- Recruit, onboard, train and supervise Behavioral Health Technicians and support personnel.
- Ensure appropriate staffing based on resident needs, scheduled services and the facility’s scope of services.
- Coordinate with the Clinical Director, Registered Nurse, medical providers, dietitian and contracted professionals.
- Oversee admissions, discharges, resident records, incident reports, complaints and corrective actions.
- Ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy and personal choice are protected.
- Monitor the facility for cleanliness, safety, maintenance and environmental compliance.
- Maintain required records relating to fire safety, emergency drills, medications, food services, resident funds and quality management.
- Coordinate referrals, tours and communication with case managers and community partners.
- Manage staff call-outs and arrange appropriate shift coverage.
- Participate in quality-management reviews and corrective-action planning.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, organized and available for regulatory review.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for ownership and facility leadership.
- Designate an accountable on-site individual when the Administrator is away from the premises.
Under Arizona’s BHRF rules, the Administrator is accountable to the governing authority for the facility’s daily operation and all services provided by or at the facility. The Administrator must also ensure that the facility establishes and follows policies covering staffing, resident safety, treatment-related processes, medication procedures, complaints, records and quality management.
Minimum Qualifications
