OVERVIEW: As a Cocktail Server at Boca West Country Club, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. You will be responsible for serving a variety of cocktails and beverages while providing top-notch customer service in a lively and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about beverages, with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet members and guests warmly and provide them with cocktail menu offerings.
- Take drink orders accurately and promptly deliver beverages to guests.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of drink recipes and ingredients, as well as the ability to suggest pairings and promote special cocktails.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, ensuring the quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar and serving station.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash, process payments, and adhere to all credit card and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Uphold company policies and health regulations regarding food and beverage service.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance cocktail knowledge and service skills.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or food and beverage service is a plus.
- Previous experience as a server or bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits, as well as standard drink preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
- Must be of legal drinking age and hold any necessary permits according to local laws and regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
