Accounts Payable/Receivable/Bookkeeper Employment Ad
Pay Range: $25-$27 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (October-June), Part-time (June-October) In Person
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (changes during Summer)

Accounts Payable/Receivable/Bookkeeper Specialist Overview: As an Accounts Payable/Receivable/Bookkeeper Specialist, you will interact daily with members to assist with transactions and billing inquiries, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all financial records. You will manage daily tickets and transactions, generate monthly member billing statements, and oversee accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, you will support the Controller or Accounting Manager with month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record transactions and maintain financial records.
- Generate financial reports and monthly statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
- Analyze accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Work with members and departments to resolve billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bookkeeping experience, preferably in a country club or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with country club accounting software (Club Essential a plus) and POS systems for restaurant, hotel, or retail operations preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred: Accounting experience including A/P and A/R.
