Overview
We are seeking a Speech Therapist to provide home visits at a group home for intellectually disabled adolescents. Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. In this role, you will deliver specialized speech and language therapy services, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote effective communication and swallowing functions. Your expertise will help enhance the quality of life for those we serve through compassionate, patient-centered care.

Duties
- Assess residents’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to identify needs and develop tailored treatment strategies
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to improve communication skills and social interactions
- Manage patient care by creating comprehensive treatment plans aligned with individual goals and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication techniques, behavioral strategies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist in accordance with state or national regulations
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities to ensure inclusive care practices.
