Responsibilities
- Supervise daily dog playgroups, ensuring safe interactions and positive socialization among pets
- Monitor dogs during activities, providing appropriate animal handling and restraint to prevent injuries or conflicts.
- Maintain cleanliness of play areas.
- Provide pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medications if needed, and offering comfort to pets in care
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s behavior, health status, or special needs
Skills
- Experience in dog handling and animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff
- Customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns professionally
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or assisting with large dogs
- Strong animal handling skills combined with patience and compassion for animals of all temperaments
