Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure efficiency and longevity of equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment problems involving refrigeration, plumbing, electrical wiring, mechanical components, and control systems.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all repairs and installations performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Equipment start-ups.
- Be familiar with chilled water, condensing water, hot water steam water systems and VRF systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with construction experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams confidently.
- Knowledge of HVAC system design principles and installation procedures.
- Experience with electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, plumbing work, and appliance repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC system maintenance routines including filter changes, refrigerant recharge, and system calibration.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in electrical systems or boiler operation are advantageous.
- Proficiency with hand tools and testing instruments such as ohmmeters or multimeters.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a <company> vehicle if required.

Pay: $27.59 - $40.00 per hour
