Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Arrive on time, in uniform to your assigned post

Perform security patrols of designated areas by vehicle or foot throughout the duration of your shift

Keep a daily log of all activity during your assigned shift

Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities

Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles

Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits

Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property

Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Works in environments and under conditions that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition, the use of protective gear and devices, and awareness of personal safety and safety of others.

Required to utilize rapid and effective judgment in responding to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level.

Experience in physical security, military service, law enforcement or a related field, sufficient to meet the minimum requirements for state and local licensing and/or site standards as established by the company.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing

Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

Must have access to reliable transportation

Must submit to drug testing, an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

Must be able to work flexible schedules and respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.
