Front of House Supervisor
You do not run a shift. You run the floor.
At Pinheads, the Front of House is everything guests see and feel.
Dining room. Bar. Arcade. Bowling lanes.
Energy. Cleanliness. Speed. Service.
If the floor is tight, the night wins.
If the floor slips, everyone feels it.
We are not looking for someone to manage a checklist.
We are looking for someone who owns the experience in real time.
If you can lead people, solve problems fast, and raise standards without killing the vibe, keep reading.
What You’re Really Here To Do
You protect the guest experience across the entire building.
You set the tone.
You control the pace.
You develop the team.
You are:
- The leader servers look to when the dining room fills up
- The steady presence when the bar gets slammed
- The voice of clarity between FOH and BOH
- The person who steps in before a small issue becomes a big one
No standing in the office.
No blaming other departments.
No waiting for someone else to fix it.
You lead from the floor.
What Winning Looks Like In This Role
- You actively supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, server assistants, arcade attendants, and bowling counter team members
- You run effective pre-shift meetings with clear priorities and energy
- You keep all guest-facing areas operating smoothly
- You monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns immediately
- You coach in the moment to protect service standards
- You ensure all FOH areas are clean, organized, and ready
- You assist with scheduling, break coordination, and shift coverage
- You communicate clearly with kitchen leadership to keep service flowing
- You enforce safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
- You execute strong opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting
- You lead by example every minute of the shift
If service slows, you step in.
If a guest is unhappy, you own it.
If the team energy drops, you raise it.
You do not supervise from a distance.
Who Thrives Here
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Have leadership experience in hospitality, entertainment, or food and beverage
- Can manage multiple departments at once without losing focus
- Communicate clearly and confidently
- Coach people up instead of tearing them down
- Stay calm under pressure
- Solve problems quickly and fairly
- Hold high standards without losing the team
You must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service if applicable.
We can teach systems.
We cannot teach leadership presence.
The Reality
- You will be on your feet for most of your shift
- It gets loud
- It gets busy
- You will lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- You will handle guest complaints, staffing gaps, and operational challenges in real time
This is not a passive role.
It requires awareness, decisiveness, and stamina.
The Standard
The FOH Supervisor sets the culture for the shift.
If you want to clock in, delegate everything, and coast, this is not the role.
If you want to lead from the front, develop people, and control the guest experience across the entire building, apply.
Own the floor. Set the tone. Protect the experience.
