SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Director of Operations and manufacturing team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This role supports production, customer service, sales, and engineering by maintaining documentation, coordinating communication across departments, and assisting with operational reporting and scheduling. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations and the Production leadership team.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting notes.
- Provide backup administrative support for Customer Service to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Coordinate inter-company documentation between departments, including timely communication to support customer requests.
- Provide administrative support for the Tooling Department activities and projects.
- Utilize Syteline ERP system to gather, analyze and share information to support customer needs and business operations.
- Communicate with internal departments to support operational efficiency.
- Maintain office and operational supply inventory, ensuring necessary materials are available for daily operations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
GENERAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Syteline ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production flow.
- Experience with inventory control and purchasing documentation.
- Familiarity with ISO documentation or quality systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any direct reports or supervisory responsibility.
FLSA CLASSIFICATION/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a salary non-exempt position which is eligible for overtime. A minimum of forty (40) hours a week is required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position does not have any travel requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires daily movement within the office and between multiple departments. It will require walking up and down the stairs daily. There will be times where it will also be sedentary with work done on a computer in an office environment. Regular communications via e-mail and phone is necessary.
SAFETY
Safety glasses, hearing protection and other PPE may be required in production areas.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in both an office and manufacturing environment. Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures may occur while on the production floor
REASONING ABILITY
Sound judgment and decision-making skills necessary. Must be able to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks and maintain timeliness for completion.

This position will at times be required to handle confidential company information relating to customers and financial documentation.
