Doug Bradley Trucking is looking for a Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles including Trucks and Trailers. Our mechanic positions work on company equipment which provides both regularity and the ability to gain specialized knowledge of certain equipment. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the newest and most technologically advanced equipment available.
Responsibilities:
- Repair Trucks (Freightliner, Kenworth, International) and trailers (Dry Vans and Reefers of various makes)
- Specialize in commercial motor vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality vehicle inspections
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanic is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to take initiative and learn new skills
- Pay depends on experience and qualifications
