Responsibilities
Assist roofing crews with the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Support the setup and teardown of job sites, ensuring materials and tools are organized and safely stored. Help with heavy lifting of roofing materials, equipment, and supplies to facilitate smooth workflow. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards. Collaborate with team members on tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, metal stud framing, and masonry work as needed. Support the use of construction estimating techniques for material needs and project planning.
Skills
Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices. Willing to provide on the job training. Attendance and Communicate are key.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
