We are seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at a well-maintained community in southwest San Angelo. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the property
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems
- Maintain and service A/C & heating systems (HVAC)
- Repair and maintain appliances, lighting, and locks
- Assist with make-ready units, including prepping apartments for new residents
- Ensure all units meet move-in quality standards
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (every third week)
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of:
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing
- HVAC systems (certification preferred)
- If not HVAC certified, must be willing to obtain certification
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent walking, bending, and climbing stairs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
