This position uses wrenches and pneumatic impact tools to mount transaxles, batteries and tires to frames. Inspects the product to make sure it is working correctly and packs the product into boxes with appropriate accessories for shipment. Reports to the Production Manager.
6AM – 2:30 PM, M-F
Duties and Responsibilities
- Moves Scooter and power chairs on and off worktables/conveyers
- Installs Transaxles, wheels, batteries onto products
- Inspects products to ensure quality
- Packs product into boxes with appropriate accessories
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to grip screws and wires regularly
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to learn and remember models and how to assemble them
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs alone and guide 200lbs scooters along a table
- Ability to walk, stand, push/pull, reach, bend
- Ability to count, read and organize
