Kindergarten Teacher – Part-Time
Ford’s Chapel Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and creating a positive, engaging classroom environment where children can thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Position Details
- Part-Time Position
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- School-year schedule
- Supportive, family-oriented preschool environment
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead daily kindergarten lessons and classroom activities
- Create a structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Teach foundational academic skills including reading, phonics, handwriting, math, and social development
- Maintain classroom organization and positive behavior management
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Foster a love for learning while supporting each child’s individual growth and development
Qualifications
- Teaching degree preferred
- Previous classroom teaching experience preferred
- Experience with the Abeka Curriculum is a plus
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must be dependable, patient, organized, and team-oriented
- Must enjoy working with young children in a faith-based preschool environment

The ideal candidate is warm, energetic, creative, and passionate about helping children succeed in their first educational experiences. We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members while maintaining a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
