Security Officer Customer Service Rover
As a Security Officer Customer Service Rover in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a shelter location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or supervisors.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access to the location by observing arrivals and departures, verifying permissions when required, and reporting unauthorized persons and/or concerning behavior.

Support a respectful environment by assisting with de-escalation, following post orders, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
