Inspector Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned in other production departments to meet the needs of the customer.
- Perform In-process & Final Inspection of High Precision Machined Parts
- Analyze and comprehend blueprints to include industry, customer and quality specifications.
- Immediately report/segregate and correct quality deficiencies to the Production Supervisor.
- Follow established Quality Procedures
- Communicate the company Quality Policy and Organizational goals
- Train other personnel in Quality Related standards
Skills and Abilities:
- Education – High School Diploma/GED
- 1-3 years of experience working in a machine shop environment
- Experience with CMM and manual inspection tools (Ziess CMM Preferred)
- Experience with .0002” tolerances
- Ability to read part drawings.
- Proficient math skills, decimals, metric and imperial unit systems
- Detail oriented, and highly accurate.
- Able to work independently; prioritize work schedule, and multi task.
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting techniques
- Good communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products, CAD, and CAM software.
