What You’ll Do
- Investigate denied claims – follow the clues in insurance denials to track down the missing info or correct errors.
- Spot patterns – identify recurring issues in claims that point to bigger problems.
- Ask “why?” until you know – dig deep into claim history, notes, and payer rules to understand what happened.
- Communicate with precision – work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and teammates to get claims resolved.
- Document your trail – keep clear, accurate notes of what you did and what you found.
What We’re Looking For
- No prior medical billing experience required – we’ll train the right person.
- Strong research skills – comfortable using online resources, payer portals, and internal tools to find answers.
- Attention to detail – you can’t leave a typo or inconsistency alone.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Ability to work weekdays between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET (some flexibility possible).
- Available to work 25 to 40 hours per week.

Compensation & Growth
- Start at $15/hour.
- Quarterly raises of $1.50/hour in your first year (earn up to $21/hour in year one).
