Responsibilities
- Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections efficiently in the lower pit area
- Assist with wheel alignments, brake inspections, and other routine maintenance services
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and communicate findings clearly to customers or service advisors
- Support the team with heavy lifting and vehicle positioning to ensure safety and precision during repairs
- Perform vehicle diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately
- Ensure all work complies with dealership standards, safety protocols, and manufacturer specifications
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Hands-on mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, and alignments
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Service technician experience that demonstrates attention to detail and quality workmanship
