Maintenance Contractor looking for Full-Time Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our staff in a private school environment. The job is located in the Kirkwood / Sunset Hills area.. Mon - Fri from 6:00A - 2:30P or as assigned by supervisor. On-call for inclement weather, weekend events or as assigned by supervisor.
Experience in the following is preferred:
· Preventative Maintenance: HVAC equipment, Rooftops, fan coil units, belts, filters, lubrication, adjustments
· Minor Electrical Maintenance: Lighting, ballasts, switches, receptacles, breakers
· Plumbing maintenance: Urinals, sinks, water fountains, toilets, irrigation systems
· HVAC Maintenance experience: boilers, chillers, rooftop units, water pumps, resets, coil cleaning, filter changing, fan coil maintenance.
· Building Maintenance: Painting, carpentry, drywall patch and repairs
· Event Setups. Setting up chairs and tables for meeting, auctions, school events
· Grounds. Snow Removal/Salting sidewalks, Leaf blowing, weed killing, grass trimming
Requirements: Must be courteous, professional in appearance; Familiar with Computerized work requests, maintenance logs; Ability to email, text and use a computer; Must understand customer services and be able to work around children; Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and work off of step ladders and 20 ft. extension ladders to change light bulbs, climb on roofs, etc.
