Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer interest and upselling opportunities
- Assist customers with product selection, providing knowledgeable advice on store offerings
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized in accordance with merchandising standards
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing back stock, and assisting with inventory counts
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support cashiering duties by processing sales efficiently while ensuring accuracy in retail math calculations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced grocery store environment
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar retail environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings and customer interactions
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations is essential
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to effectively serve diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey product information clearly and confidently
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices is advantageous
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
