JOB TITLE: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INTERN

An IT Intern assists the IT department with daily technical tasks, troubleshooting, and system maintenance while gaining practical experience in information technology operations.

Provide technical support to employees (hardware, software, and network issues)

Install, configure, and update computer systems and applications

Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure (servers, networks, printers, etc.)

Monitor system performance and help with troubleshooting issues

Support cybersecurity practices (password management, updates, basic audits)

Document technical processes and maintain IT records/inventories

Help with data backup and recovery procedures

Collaborate with the IT team on projects such as system upgrades or deployments

Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking

Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux)

Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields

Knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, routers)

Experience with help desk tools or ticketing systems

Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles

Familiarity with programming or scripting (Python, Java, etc.)
Work Environment:

Work primarily in an office environment with occasional production facility exposure consisting on moving machinery, loud noise, and industrial driving traffic.
- Requires sitting at a desk with consistent computer use for extended periods.

Requires lifting and carrying up to 30lbs.
