Hours(Monday-Friday) 2:30pm-5:30pm
We are looking for a reliable, responsible, respectful, organized, fun-loving person who wants to work with children. Candidates should have excellent communication skills for children and adults and works well with others. The candidate must be physically able to interact with children on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
· Interact with children at their level (stoop and bend) both physically and verbally
· Observes and respond to children’s needs, emergencies, and conflicts that may occur in a classroom, on the playground, or in the changing area.
· Help children with personal hygiene and keeping the classrooms, assigned, clean, and organized
· Meet with parents, staff, and administration and attend a staff meeting and other events as needed/requested
· Driving a 14 passenger van to pick up students from schools.
· Helping children do their homework, checking finished homework, help with reading, and giving snacks
Qualifications:
· An active and clean driver’s license
· One year of relevant experience or one year working in a Child Care Facility
· Able to interact with students of all ages and skill levels
Experience:
· Relevant: 1 year (Preferred)
· Child Care Facility: 1 year (Preferred)
· Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
