- Follow all food handling procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety standards are met
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within healthcare or food service settings
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling and food safety practices
- Experience with food industry operations, including restaurant or catering environments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food service standards, including serving techniques and customer interaction
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food preparation tools, and sanitation procedures
