Duties
- Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or finishing work
- Support concrete pouring, finishing, and pumping operations to ensure smooth and durable surfaces
- Install rebar, metal studs, or framing components according to schematics and blueprints
- Perform masonry tasks including stucco, bricklaying, or tile laying as needed on various projects
- Read and interpret construction schematics and blueprints to assist tradespeople in executing precise work
- Conduct demolition, renovation, or restoration activities while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of construction techniques including concrete forming, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, and roofing
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely and effectively
- Mechanical knowledge related to tools, schematics, and basic maintenance procedures
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or working at heights
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting materials or equipment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
