Intermodal Dispatcher

Jetco Delivery is seeking an experienced Intermodal Dispatcher to take ownership of daily operations, driver coordination, and customer satisfaction across our intermodal division. If you have the skill set and leadership mindset to take the wheel, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of daily intermodal dispatch operations
- Assign loads and manage driver schedules to meet time-sensitive delivery demands
- Communicate directly with customers regarding shipment status, exceptions, and special instructions
- Manage Fast Pass requests, equipment releases, and paperwork accuracy
- Monitor and resolve delays or service disruptions proactively
- Collaborate with departments including safety, maintenance, and compliance to ensure smooth operations
- Train and supervise assistant dispatchers or support staff
- Uphold the highest safety standards for all personnel and loads
- Provide leadership in maintaining and improving customer service performance
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in intermodal dispatching or truckload dispatching with intermodal exposure
- Deep knowledge of port operations, container movement, and intermodal equipment
- Ability to prioritize, strategize, and adjust plans quickly under pressure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office & Outlook proficiency; experience with Compcare VIntermodal is a plus
- Strong geographic knowledge of Texas ports and rail ramps
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

- VI/Compcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- Container/chassis dispatch: 2 years (Preferred)
