What You'll Do
- Prepare patients for visits by recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Assist physicians during examinations and in-office procedures.
- Educate patients on treatments, medications, and post-visit care instructions.
- Schedule appointments, verify insurance, coordinate referrals, and support front-office operations.
- Maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and follow infection control protocols.
- Help create a welcoming, professional, and patient-centered experience from check-in to check-out.
What We're Looking For
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) – Required
- Minimum 2 years of medical office experience
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- ENT or specialty practice experience is a plus
- Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply
- BLS/CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Experience
- Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program is required.
- Prior experience in outpatient clinics or hospital settings is highly preferred; experience in dermatology, emergency medicine, or internal medicine is advantageous.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and medical terminology.
- Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs collection, and specimen handling.
- Knowledge of ICD coding standards for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with anatomy and physiology enhances patient care delivery.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments such as urgent care centers or trauma hospitals is a plus; inpatient or PICU experience is beneficial.
- Ability to adapt quickly to diverse clinical scenarios including geriatrics or medical-surgical settings; familiarity with X-ray procedures is a bonus.
Spanish Speaker Preferred.
