About the Role
Stontek LLC is hiring a Cabinet Designer & Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll combine design skills with a hands-on sales approach — working directly with customers, creating cabinet layouts and 3D renderings, and closing sales. You'll work alongside our sales and fabrication teams to turn client ideas and field measurements into accurate, buildable designs.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist customers in our showroom and over the phone and email, understanding their needs and guiding them through product and design options
- Design custom and semi-custom cabinet layouts for kitchens, bathrooms, and other spaces using professional design software
- Create 2D floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings for client presentations
- Walk clients through their designs, explain product options, and help them make confident decisions
- Follow up with leads and prospects to keep the sales process moving
- Read and interpret field measurements and turn them into accurate technical drawings
- Work with the sales team to adjust designs based on client feedback
- Generate cut lists, product specs, and documentation for fabrication and installation
- Keep project files organized and hit both design and sales deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with 2020 Design Live, Design Flex, ProKitchen, Cabinet Vision, or any professional cabinet/kitchen/bath design and quoting software
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting tool for technical drawings and space planning
- Real experience in cabinet and kitchen design — you know materials, hardware, cabinet construction, and industry standards
- Sales-minded — comfortable presenting to customers, handling objections, and closing deals
- Able to read and work with field measurements accurately
- Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects at once
- Strong people skills — this is a client-facing role every day
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a showroom or retail/wholesale sales environment
- Knowledge of countertop materials (natural stone, quartz, quartzite)
- Background in kitchen remodeling, cabinetry, or the stone industry
- Familiarity with manufacturer catalogs inside design software
