The Town of Glocester, Rhode Island, is seeking a Director of Finance responsible for planning and administering the Town’s budget and overseeing the Finance Office, including accounting, payables, payroll and benefits, as well as overseeing the offices of the Tax Assessor and the Tax Collector.
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration and at least seven years of financial management experience, including at least four years at a supervisory level. Preference is given to candidates with experience in municipal government finance. The salary range is between $100,000 and $110,313 annually depending on experience and education.
