Join our team as a Front Desk Agent at our World-Class Resort in Pigeon Forge, where you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Responsibilities
- Utilize the Property Management Software (PMS) to access guest information, retrieve reservation details, modify or cancel reservations, and register guests.
- Verify registration information, secure credit cards for incidental expenses, authorize charges, and assist with guest concerns, escalating to management when necessary.
- Receive and process reservation requests within established guidelines.
- When accommodations are unavailable, offer waitlist options and recommend alternative lodging or RV parks in the area.
- Register guests and assign rooms/spaces, manage guest accounts, handle reservations, present statements, and collect payments as needed.
- Receive and maintain accountability for a change fund. Prepare Close Bank Reports and deposit cash receipts at the end of each shift according to established procedures.
- Ensure guest security and privacy are maintained at all times.
- Professionally assist guests by answering questions about the resort, amenities, and local attractions.
- Inventory keys, supplies, and guest amenities maintained at the front desk.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
- Run and print PMS reports, including Expected Arrivals, Departure Lists, and In-House Guest Lists.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments or team members.
- Log maintenance and service requests in the PMS and notify the appropriate department.
- Clean and sanitize all bathhouse areas, including toilets, showers, sinks, and floors.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience required; previous RV hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
- Familiarity with local attractions and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and database systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Ability to learn and follow safety, emergency, and accident prevention procedures.
- Available to work Friday through Monday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and on public holidays.
- Valid State Driver’s License.

Compensation
- $10/hour for team members who live onsite.
- $14/hour for team members who do not live onsite.
