LPN Floor Nurse
Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN Floor Nurse to join our team at our skilled nursing rehabilitation center in Mount Airy, MD. About the Role:
As an LPN Floor Nurse at Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to our residents, with a focus on promoting their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Your duties will include:
Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and conducting vital signs assessments
Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Performing routine tests and screenings, such as blood glucose monitoring and vital sign checks
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment plans
Assisting with orientation and training of new staff members
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and exceptional patient outcomes
Requirements:
Current LPN/LVN license in the state of Maryland
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education and training preferred
Minimum of 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting; experience in geriatric care or rehabilitation preferred
Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Shift differential M-F Evening and Night Shift $2 per hour, Sat & Sun Day Shift $3 per hour, Sat & Sun Evening and Night Shifts $5 per hour
