Overview
Redeemer Christian Church is seeking caring and dependable childcare providers to care for toddlers through 5th grade during our Sunday worship service. This is not a teaching or ministry role—we’re simply looking for warm, attentive adults who can create a safe and fun environment for kids while their parents attend worship. This role is ideal for college students, caregivers, teachers, or anyone looking for a small but meaningful recurring role on Sunday mornings.
Details:
- When: Sunday mornings, 9:00am - 11:00am (Childcare takes place primarily between
- 9:30am-10:45am, with light setup and cleanup before and after)
- Preferred commitment: 6 months
- Pay: $30/hour
- Location: Redeemer Christian Church, 1495 S. University Blvd, Denver
- Childcare takes place in separate, designated rooms apart from the worship space.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise and engage with 5–10 children in a safe, caring environment.
- Play, talk and participate in simple activities (materials provided).
- Set up and tidy the space before and after (laying out toys, wiping tables, light cleaning).
- Help manage a simple sign-in/sign-out system.
What We're Looking For:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Kind, patient, flexible, and respectful toward all kids and families.
- Comfortable getting on the floor, moving around, and lifting small children as needed.
- Comfortable working within a Christian church environment.
- Reliable and communicative.
