We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers in performing examinations and procedures by preparing patients and equipment.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Provide patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff.
- Support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing electronic health records (EHR), and coding for billing purposes.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Stay current with basic life support protocols and maintain knowledge of physiology relevant to patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, coding systems, and patient service practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of vital signs assessment techniques and basic life support certification is required.
- Experience working in clinical care settings is beneficial.
