Job Description:
The Server is the face of Millcrepes and plays a crucial role in delivering a warm and memorable dining experience. This position requires excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prepare all drinks on our menu. Friendliness and patience are essential qualities, as providing top-quality service is our highest priority.
Servers must also help keep the dining area and front-of-house clean, organized, and well-presented.
Responsibilities: Exceptional Customer Service
- Greet customers with a friendly, positive, and patient attitude.
- Take accurate orders, answer menu questions, and check in with guests during their meal.
- Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally.
- Answer phone calls politely and help customers place orders or get information.
Drink Preparation
Prepare all drinks on our menu, including:
- Smoothies
- Hot chocolate
- Drip coffee
- Lattes
- Italian sodas
- Teas
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent flavor and quality. Maintain a clean and organized drink station at all times.
Food Running & Quality Control
- Deliver food to tables promptly and professionally.
- Verify the presentation and correctness of every plated dish before serving.
- For to-go orders: Double check order accuracy
- Package neatly and securely
- Ensure sauces, utensils, napkins, and add-ons are included
Front-of-House Organization
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Keep the dining area clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Polish glasses and silverware after washing to maintain spotless presentation.
- Wrap silverware neatly with cloth napkins.
Cleaning Responsibilities
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the front-of-house during the shift.
- Clean and restock bathrooms before clocking out.
- Assist with general closing duties to ensure a clean and organized environment for the next shift.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Restaurant/food service experience strong preferred
- Barista experience is strongly preferred
- Friendly, patient, and service-oriented personality
- Ability to prepare drinks quickly and consistently
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Weekend availability required
