Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team.
· Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance
· Conducts mechanical and visual tests on finished parts and parts in process and compares
· parts to specified drawings.
· Records in the established business system(s), the status of the inspection of all assigned parts.
· Study and interpret drawings, shop manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts.
· Ensure product quality, workmanship, and conformance to all applicable processes, requirements and regulatory standards in accordance with the established Quality System.
· Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Basic skills required to operate technical machinery. Must be able to use a caliper and other hand tools.
· Must have command of blueprint reading including an understanding of drawings.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Computer proficient including Microsoft office suite.
· Be able to work with minimal supervision.
Years’ Experience Reqd.
3+ years of experience in a quality-focused manufacturing or service environment is required.
