Experienced Metal Stud Framer
We are seeking an experienced Metal Stud Framer for commercial construction projects. Candidates must have strong layout and framing skills and be comfortable building walls, soffits, ceilings, and other assemblies using light-gauge metal framing.
Responsibilities:
- Layout and install metal stud walls
- Install top and bottom track
- Frame door and window openings
- Frame soffits, bulkheads, ceilings, and partitions
- Measure, cut, and fasten metal studs and track
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Use lasers, levels, and layout tools
- Install backing and blocking as required
- Coordinate framing with drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades
- Maintain accurate, plumb, level, and square framing
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial metal stud framing experience preferred
- Strong layout skills
- Experience with light-gauge metal framing
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience using screw guns, snips, chop saws, lasers, and standard construction tools
- Must have basic hand tools
- Reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work from ladders or lifts

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
