Position Summary
American Breast Care is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead our accounting and financial operations while optimizing our Oracle NetSuite ERP environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this highly visible leadership role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and enterprise system management.
The ideal candidate thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment, enjoys working with financial data, and is equally comfortable managing day-to-day accounting activities and driving process improvements through automation and technology. This position requires strong NetSuite expertise and a proactive approach to improving operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Accounting
- Lead all accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements.
- Assist with or oversee payroll processing, bank reconciliations, accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R).
- Coordinate financial reporting and activities with ABC GmbH, the company's German subsidiary.
- Maintain relationships with banking partners, insurance providers, external CPA firms, legal counsel, and other professional service providers.
- Maintain corporate records, trademarks, and legally binding corporate agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Oracle NetSuite ERP experience managing daily accounting and financial reporting (required).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting best practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
