Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, safely and effectively on-site.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project specifications and assist with layout work.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Aid in demolition, restoration projects, and renovation efforts by preparing surfaces and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with heavy equipment operation and construction materials.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry, siding or interior remodels is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous for understanding project scope.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete pumping equipment, and scaffolding setup.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs.
