Blazing Visuals specializes in site branding, signage, large format, promotional imaging, and small format printing. We design, print, fabricate, manufacture and install large format graphics. We are more than a vendor; we're a trusted partner of local and national businesses. Our office and production facility are based in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
Job Description
Our Pre-Production department prepares large format print, plotter and CNC output, to exacting client specifications. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, design and develop production solutions while paying attention to process and materials in a team-oriented environment.
Specific responsibilities of the position include:
- Utilize best practices for digital file preparation in preproduction and prepress for large format, small format, plotter, CNC output and signage builds.
- Color correct files for proper output and color matching to client specifications, including PMS color matching.
- Clearly communicate with Sales, Project Management, Design and Production.
- Prepare paperwork for production and installation layouts.
- Maintain basic computer hardware, operating systems and RIP programs on Mac OS and Windows platforms.
Qualifications
Expertise in large format prepress production; skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat. The candidate must be proficient with MAC OS X and Windows. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, sharp graphic sensibilities, and precise attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. 2+ years' experience in large format printing is necessary; a college degree is desired. Ability to work overtime when needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
