We are seeking a motivated and dependable Septic Truck Driver looking to make a career in the septic trade. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating vacuum trucks designed for septic waste removal and transportation. Your primary focus will be pumping septic systems in residential neighborhoods. In time you will learn how to maintain and service septic systems. The ideal candidate will loves to serve people, has strong driving skills, and has a proactive approach to safety and vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Operate commercial septic trucks equipped with vacuum tanks and pumps safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with safety regulations. These trucks are heavy and can be dangerous if driven improperly. Defensive driving is a requirement.
- Deliver legendary customer service by communicating with homeowners in a friendly, respectful manner and educating them on their septic system. People want to trust the people that are at their homes.
- Display grit and determination when navigating challenging job sites, locating tanks, and solving field issues. Some jobs are going to suck, summers are hot, and finding tanks and lids can be frustrating - at the end of the day you know you helped someone live where they love.
- Expand your knowledge learning is a requirement. Each month we will read (or listen) to a new book and discuss. The idea is to give you the knowledge and skills to achieve your goals - whether at Roadrunner Septic or somewhere else.
- Conduct thorough routine inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance, proactively reporting all mechanical or safety concerns.
- Maintain precise digital or physical records of service activities, mileage, fuel, and waste disposal logs.
Requirements & Skills
- Valid Class A or B CDL with an excellent, clean driving record.
- Proven commercial driving experience (e.g., vacuum trucks, dump trucks, concrete mixers, or tractor-trailers).
- True Warrior Spirit physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pull heavy hoses to and from the truck, and dig up septic lids in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills rooted in deep respect for both customers and your internal team.
- Proactive mindset focused on safety, continuous learning, and long-term career growth.
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
